    Did you read the wonderful piece written by Neal Martin (The Wine Pages, and now with Parker) on his 40th birthday and his meal of 'KFC' matched with various cru wines from 1971?

    I hadn't read it, but I did just check it out, so thanks again Ed. :) The photo of Dom Perignon sitting aside popcorn chicken is GOLD, but I do have to disagree with Neal's distaste for the Zinger :)

    Funnily, since drawing this toon, I've felt growingly compelled to try an old John Riddoch with a Double Quarter Pounder.....
