  2. Sometimes I'll buy good butter, a kilo of the best prawns I can find, some light sourdough bread, make a bowl of mayonnaise and work through prawn sandwiches & a bottle of semillon or riesling. Blissful.

    Your plate looks pretty damn good too.

    I haven't tried that combination before but I'll have to admit, although perhaps the least 'fancy' of the trio pictured here, the highlight of this lunch was fresh prawn after fresh prawn (sided by a homemade cocktail sauce) with the dry, crisp white. It's kinda like beer and jerky for white wine drinkers. :)
